Courtyard
A typical, large stone house, set off a stone courtyard in a hill village around Bagni di Lucca. The house has been fully and sympathetically restored, and has extensive cantine.

The main floor consists of a large, light, living room (over 5 x 5 m), with a working fireplace, old cotto floors and chestnut beams. Off this is a pretty kitchen under an arch and a simple dining area in an alcove. On the same floor is a shower room and a small study.
Upstairs are a double bedroom (around 3 x 4 m) with wooden floors and chestnut beams, a larger master bedroom (3.3 x 5m), a third double bedroom (3.3 x 3 m), a bathroom with bath, and a foyer area for storage.
Internal stairs lead down from the main floor to the cantinas, one smaller room (3.3 x 3.4 m), having old cotto floors and chestnut beams, a smaller room with street access, a wood storage room, and a very large cantina (3.9 x 5.2m), currently set up as a workshop. Below this level is a further cantina, a wood storage room with street access (to permit direct delivery of wood), and a wood fired boiler for heating and hot water.

There is currently no formal outside space, but it may be possible to arrange for use a small part of the adjacent stone courtyard, perhaps around 4 x 3m, for sitting out.
